Neil Island, officially known as "Shaheed Dweep Island," is one of the top tourist destinations in the Andaman Islands. It is located in the South Andaman district to the east of Great Andaman Island, approximately 36 km northeast of Port Blair, covering an area of 13.7 square kilometers.

Part of the Ritchie Archipelago, Neil Island is nestled between Havelock Island and Ross Island. It was named after British Brigadier General James Neil, but on December 30, 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi renamed the island to Shaheed Dweep Island as a tribute to Subash Chandra Bose.
